1. Material composition Gabion is mainly made of low-carbon steel wire or steel wire coated with PVC on the surface with high corrosion resistance, high strength, wear resistance and ductility. Specifications Wire diameter: According to the requirements of engineering design, the diameter of the low-carbon steel wire used in gabion is generally between 2.0-4.0mm. Metal coating weight: In order to enhance the corrosion resistance of the steel wire, the weight of the metal coating is generally higher than 245g/m². Mesh edge wire diameter: The edge wire diameter of the gabion is generally larger than the mesh wire diameter to increase the strength of the overall structure. Length of the double-wire twisted part: In order to ensure that the metal coating and PVC coating of the twisted part of the steel wire are not damaged, the length of the double-wire twisted part shall not be less than 50mm. 3.
